Katarina Wit was born 3 December 1965 from Staaken (East Germany). Always looking for fresh opportunities and the challenges. Through this process she's gained experience in a myriad of areas which include production, figure skating, presentation, acting, and even writing. After the 1988 World Championships Katarina Witt ends her highly successful career as an amateur to the present. In the next three years she will be co-headlining in North America, and Canada the first of her professional shows along with Brian Boitano, the Calgary Olympic Champion as well as the Calgary Olympic Champion World Champion. The first time in 10 years, the Madison Square Garden shows a figure-skating show with "Witt and Boitano skating". The show became so well-known that it sold out the Madison Square Garden for a entire event. The show returns her as a professional athlete for at the Olympic Games at Lillehammer, 1994, for the third time in her appearance. In 1994, she tours across the US and Canada in the role of a star on the ice skating show "Stars on Ice" and "Champions in Ice" for the past 10 years. She is also a participant in numerous professional international competitions. With her production company WITH WITT, she is responsible for many international ice show concepts that are created, headlined and produced.
